Smt. Ushakant Thakkar, MD

Dr. Ushakant Thakkar (Dr. Kant Tucker), MD Nephrology, is a recipient of the “Spirit Award” in 2009 from the National Kidney Foundation. He has had a private practice in the San Fernando Valley since 1980 and was on the faculty of UCLA in the department of medicine. He is also the CEO of an outpatient dialysis company called “Kidney Center Inc.” since 1985. He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Kidney Foundation, and is the President of the California Kidney Medical Group, one of the largest nephrology private practice groups in Southern California.
